The initial assessment and consultation is with a registered dietitian. We use the latest body composition technology to measure your muscle mass, body fat and metabolic rate. At the end of this consultation you will be provided with written recommendations for your food, fluid and activity. WeightWise is all about providing you with plenty of choice and using every day foods available in the supermarket.
Over the following 6 sessions you’ll understand the importance of knowing how your body is made up. You’ll also see food in a new light, and understand there’s much more to it than just the calories. You’ll get to grips with matching your food choices to your body make up. These sessions are ‘brought to life’ with our visual displays. We see these as an effective way of passing on our knowledge to you. All along the way, you’ll be guided by our staff who are experts in their field. They will offer you advice, support and encouragement to ensure you are on the path to successful, permanent weight loss.
