With the use of body composition monitors WeightWise really does offer a personalised approach – specifically designed for your body makeup. This understanding of how your body is made up allows us to identify your requirements and match them to your food intake. This gives a much easier, more comfortable weight loss and enables us to closely monitor your progress.
Take a moment to consider a group of people, all with the same age, same height and same weight. If they were to eat the same amount and exercise the same amount over a period of time, some would lose weight; some would maintain weight and some may even gain weight. There would also be noticeable differences in their appetite. Some would feel hungry within a couple of hours of a meal and need to snack; others would eat and feel satisfied until their next meal. Everybody in the group might have the same weight, but each person’s body composition would be different - and that’s why each person would have different food needs.
As well, WeightWise believes it’s time you understood the truth about foods for weight loss. Many of the nutrition messages are misleading, misunderstood and often distorted. General ‘healthy food’ messages are not always weight loss messages. Food suppliers and manufacturers are typically more interested in boosting their sales than in your well-being!
